A bit about me:
I got into my dance music in 1998, started mixing on my mates decks and soon looked to get some of my own. I finally invested in a pair of Technics after a lot of saving, then there was no turning back!!
In the last couple of years I have played in several clubs in my area, and have been frantically promoting myself (bloody hard work!!!). In the last year, a friend and I have been setting up DJ competitions for all genres of dance music in the local area. I am now involved in a joint venture to promote an event in Gloucester which will bring Trance, Techno and Hard House to clubbers which will run from mid-afternoon til the early hours.
My most enjoyable gig Ive played so far, was to a crowd of 800 people in a huge barn as part of the Sun Run, which took place in July 2003. I managed to create a really good atmosphere and felt a tremendous vibe from the crowd, which all made an excellent time for everyone.
Recently I have been looking into making my own music and have invested in software, I have got a lot of ideas for projects and collaborations that I really want to pull off. But it will all have to wait as I am planning travel for 8 months/1 year (whenever the money runs out)!!!
Outside of the working week, I have a job for a well established record company based in Bristol, with a branch in Cheltenham Chemical Records, where I am responsible for promoting and selling House and Trance.
As well as all that Im a devoted clubber, I get to as many events as I can in one month. I appreciate outdoor events more than those indoors and manage to attend at least three festivals a year.
