Having bought his first set of decks just in time for the Millennium, Adams dj ing career has gone from strength to strength.
From spending a couple of years in his bedroom perfecting his skills and techniques, Adam got his big break at an underground Trance club in London, Planet Angel was the night, and The Arches was the venue, located in Southwark, Central London. His first gig, back in October 2002, was a huge success. The skills and techniques learnt in his bedroom paid off big time. His set was enjoyed by partygoers and the promoters themselves and soon got his next gig booked for February 2003. People who recognised him from his first gig were really looking forward to his next. Soon came another amazing set on Friday 13th June 2003.
His passion for Trance music has always been close to him, getting him through the hard times of being up all night doing essays at university, and the struggles and stresses of work.
Finding a record that means something to me is what I enjoy most about dj ing. Keeping the crowd going with these records gives me a huge lift, Adam says.
His passion for the more chilled sounds, like Solarstones Seven Cities, and Accadias Into the Dawn, is enormous, while he ends his sets with the likes of S.H.O.K.Ks Isnt it All a Little Strange? and Flutlichts Ahmea. There is never a dull tune kept in his record box.
Going clubbing is something else Adam enjoys. Godskitchen and Gatecrasher are two of his favourite clubs. But he adds Nothing will ever come close to a night spent at Planet Angel. The atmosphere, the people and the crew who make it all happen is what makes a night at Planet Angel so special and never to be forgotten. I hope to be involved with Planet Angel for many years to come.
This is just the start of Adams dj career. Who knows where it might take him, but one thing is for sure, his sets will take you on a far away journey, and you wont want to come back!!!
