My DJ name is Munch Monster.  The reason for my name is:  I came up with the idea of Munch which is a night in Southend that I co run with friends.  I couldnt decide on a name, my friends came up with Munch Monster and its sort of stuck now.

I have been DJing for just under 3 years and have played at clubs in Southend.  The music I play is hard uplifting trance; I cant get enough of those pounding bass lines.

Munch has been going for a year in April 2003 and I cant believe how much we have grown as a night.  Ever since I got my decks and played that first flawless mix, I was caught by the bug, playing out every month ensures I stay on top of the new tunes and that really helps you improve your mixing skills.

I am always trying new things to enhance my skills.  I am now looking into the making of music, so one day I can do a set consisting of all my own work.    I dont think anything comes close to the feeling I get when Im playing out, until I play out using my own music.

Looking to the future, and one day I would live to give up my job as a croupier and open my own records shop and start Munch Records.
